When it takes you 4 hours to drive round trip to this spot, you basically only have about 30-40 minutes to shoot until you're both completely over it - mini shoots for the win. Thank goodness I was with Dre - she braved sub-arctic conditions and basically froze herself for the sake of photography. She's one of my oldest friends and like the best human around and I'm so happy I got to be a part of this season of her life...

Reason why Heather and I get along...we are spontaneous. Sunday morning call..."let's do some quick maternity photos". Why not? I got to hang out with my fave family and shoot one of the most beautiful women I know. I love this girl and will love her little girl just as much when she gets here.
